• Bring your Documentation (strengths/weakness, measurements, test results)!
• We will measure your containers (for the contest) and discuss your Production & Three Rs (for your grade).

Decay & Dating

The two types of radioactive decay demonstrate

• unpredictable behavior, when you are looking at a single atom;
• predictable behavior, when you are looking at a large number of atoms.

We use this behavior to figure out how old things are. Two simulations by PhET will show what I mean!
